Full Face (inc. Neck)
Comprehensive facial coverage.
Comprehensive facial laser coverage — cheeks, jaw, upper lip, chin, and down through the neck. Ideal for hormonal growth or anyone wanting a clean, low-maintenance finish. The x5 course delivers the permanence most people are after.
What to expect.
20–25 minutes. Jas works through the face in sections — cheeks, jaw, upper lip, chin — then extends down through the neck. No particular area is uncomfortable; the whole session is quick, warm, and routine. Leave makeup off afterwards and avoid retinoids for 48 hours.
Results timeline.
Full-face treatment delivers the cleanest, most even result — gradual fine-down over sessions two through four, visible skin improvement by session five (reduced pore visibility as the follicles thin). Ideal for anyone with hormonal or PCOS-driven face growth, or anyone who just wants the long-term low-maintenance finish. Annual touch-ups common for hormonal clients.
Questions, answered.
Does it hurt?
Full Face (inc. Neck) feels like a warm rubber band flicking the skin — enough to notice, not enough to dread. Most clients read their phone through it. The sensation is briefest on fine-hair areas (upperlip, chin); slightly more on dense or coarser patches. Jas cools the skin in passes, so by session two or three most clients find it easier than the first, as the hair thins and the device needs less energy to target what remains.
Can I book if I've been in the sun or on a sunbed?
No — and this matters. Active tan (from sun, sunbed, or gradual self-tan) changes how the laser reads the skin and risks burns or pigmentation. You need four weeks clear of UV exposure and two weeks clear of fake tan before Full Face (inc. Neck). If you're booked and your skin has changed since the consultation, message Jas before the appointment — rescheduling costs nothing, a burn costs months of recovery.
How many sessions do I actually need, and why the x5 course?
Hair grows in three phases — only one (anagen) is laser-responsive. That's why single sessions thin rather than clear, and why 4–6 weeks between sessions matches the cycle for most skin types. The x5 course (£260) is priced for the number of sessions that gets Full Face (inc. Neck) to near-permanent reduction for most clients. Some people need a touch-up at 18–24 months; others don't. You can always start with a single session (£60) to see how your skin responds before committing.
Are there medications that rule me out?
A short list. Roaccutane / isotretinoin requires a 6-month gap after your last dose. Certain antibiotics (tetracyclines) and photosensitising herbal supplements (St John's Wort) raise burn risk — pause for two weeks before a session, or reschedule. Blood thinners, hormone treatments, and most prescription medications are fine; Jas will ask you through a short health form at the consultation and flag anything relevant. Bring your current medication list to the first appointment.
What if my hair is hormone-driven — PCOS, post-pregnancy, or menopausal growth?
Hormone-driven hair responds to Full Face (inc. Neck) but needs honest expectations. The x5 course reduces what's there; if the underlying hormonal driver is still producing new growth, you'll need maintenance sessions (typically every 6–12 months, sometimes more for active PCOS). It's not the laser failing — it's biology ongoing. Jas will map a realistic plan with you at consultation rather than promise permanence that hormonal clients rarely get.
How long do I have to skip makeup after a face session?
Twenty-four hours minimum, ideally forty-eight. Freshly-treated skin is mildly inflamed at follicle level — makeup product (especially long-wear and mineral foundations) sits in pores you don't want clogged while they recover. Tinted moisturiser or pressed powder is the earliest you should layer anything; full base waits two days. Lipstick and brows are fine immediately.
Will laser help with hormonal facial hair specifically — chin, upper lip, jawline?
Yes, with honest expectations. The x5 course at £260 reduces hormonal facial hair to about 70-80% permanent clearance; remaining hair tends to be finer and lighter. If PCOS, post-pregnancy, or perimenopausal hormones continue to drive new growth, you'll need maintenance sessions every 6-12 months thereafter — not because laser failed, but because the hormonal driver remains active. Jas can plan a realistic timeline at consultation, and discuss whether GP support (treating the hormone driver itself) alongside laser would compound results.
