Full Legs
Once, properly, then done.
Ankle to thigh, complete coverage. Popular with cyclists, swimmers, runners, and anyone who's just had enough of dealing with it. The x5 course at £700 is a one-time investment for near-permanent results.
What to expect.
50–60 minutes. Jas moves systematically from ankles to thighs. Men's leg hair tends to be denser than women's so the session takes slightly longer; sensation is mild across most of the area, sharper on the inner thighs. Shave fully the night before.
Results timeline.
First shed phase 7–14 days after session one, often dramatic because of hair density. By session five, most clients see 70–90% permanent reduction. Cyclists, swimmers, and runners make up most of Jas's male leg-laser clients — the x5 course at £700 saves thousands of hours over a lifetime. Maintenance every 18–24 months typical.
Questions, answered.
Does it hurt?
Full Legs feels like a warm rubber band flicking the skin — sharper than waxing for the first session because men's hair is denser and darker, so the laser draws more energy. By session two or three most clients find it easier as the hair thins and the device needs less power. Jas cools the skin in passes; you can pause any time. Most men describe it as 'manageable, not pleasant' — about the level of getting a tattoo in a forearm-sized patch.
Can I book if I've been in the sun or on a sunbed?
No — and this matters. Active tan (from sun, sunbed, or gradual self-tan) changes how the laser reads the skin and risks burns or pigmentation. You need four weeks clear of UV exposure and two weeks clear of fake tan before Full Legs. If you're booked and your skin has changed since the consultation, message Jas before the appointment — rescheduling costs nothing, a burn costs months of recovery.
How many sessions do I actually need, and why the x5 course?
Hair grows in three phases — only one (anagen) is laser-responsive. That's why single sessions thin rather than clear, and why 5–7 weeks between sessions matches the cycle for most skin types. The x5 course (£700) is priced for the number of sessions that gets Full Legs to near-permanent reduction for most clients. Men's hair is coarser and denser than women's, so men typically see more dramatic results from each session — but the same five-session structure applies. Single sessions (£150) work for testing how your skin responds before committing.
Are there medications that rule me out?
A short list. Roaccutane / isotretinoin requires a 6-month gap after your last dose. Certain antibiotics (tetracyclines) and photosensitising herbal supplements (St John's Wort) raise burn risk — pause for two weeks before a session, or reschedule. Blood thinners, hormone treatments (including testosterone replacement), and most prescription medications are fine; Jas will ask you through a short health form at the consultation. Bring your current medication list.
I cycle, run, or swim — does this help with training and recovery?
Materially, yes. Athletes who train in shorts or skin-tight kit deal with hair-related chafing, sweat trapping, and a daily shave maintenance burden that all disappear once Full Legs is complete. Cyclists notice the difference by session two — chamois cream works better, leg massage glides cleanly, taping doesn't pull on regrowth. Swimmers spend less time on shave maintenance and shave nicks. Runners get fewer ingrown hairs from compression gear. The x5 course at £700 is a one-time investment that pays back every week of training season.
Will this stop the shaving rash I get on legs or arms in summer?
Yes — shaving rash, ingrown hairs, and post-shave bumps on legs and arms all stem from the same cause as facial razor bumps: the follicle producing coarse hair into freshly-shaved skin. Removing the follicle removes the rash trigger. Most clients see the difference by session three — the x5 course at £700 typically gets you to a maintenance-free summer for life. Common booking pattern: new clients start in spring to be results-visible by July.
Does this work on my skin type?
Jas's device suits Fitzpatrick types I through V with safe settings — that covers the majority of UK skin tones including olive, South Asian, Middle Eastern, and most East Asian skin. Fitzpatrick VI (deepest) is workable but needs conservative settings and more sessions; Jas will assess at consultation and be direct if another clinic with different equipment would serve you better. Dishonest fits get burns; honest fits get results.
